Pet X-Rays / Radiology
Digital X-rays allow us to quickly assess a range of injuries, illnesses, and internal conditions. This valuable diagnostic tool helps us make informed decisions about your pet’s treatment and care.
At Leeming Vet, radiography (X-ray imaging) is an important part of our diagnostic services, helping us investigate a wide variety of health concerns in both dogs and cats. From limping and suspected fractures to unexplained illness or internal changes, X-rays give us a clear view of what may be happening beneath the surface.
X-rays are commonly used to assess bone injuries, joint problems, spinal issues, chest and lung conditions, and abdominal concerns. In some cases, they may be used alongside other diagnostic tools such as ultrasound or in-house pathology to provide a more complete picture of your pet’s health.
For most X-ray procedures, pets are gently sedated or anaesthetised to ensure they remain still and comfortable during imaging. This allows us to obtain clear, accurate results while keeping stress to a minimum. Our team closely monitors every patient throughout the process using modern anaesthetic equipment and protocols.
We understand that waiting for answers about your pet’s health can be stressful. That’s why we aim to make the process as efficient and reassuring as possible, with clear communication at every step.
As a family owned and locally operated clinic, we are committed to providing accurate diagnostics and compassionate care for pets in our community.
