Our puppy school helps give young dogs the best start in life through positive socialisation, basic training, and practical guidance for new pet owners. It’s a great opportunity to build confidence and healthy behaviours from an early age.
Bringing home a new puppy is an exciting time, but it can also come with plenty of questions and challenges. Puppy school provides a supportive environment where puppies can learn important life skills while owners gain valuable knowledge and confidence in caring for their newest family member.
At Leeming Vet, our puppy school focuses on positive reinforcement training and appropriate socialisation. Puppies have the opportunity to safely interact with other puppies while learning basic skills such as sit, stay, recall, lead manners, and polite behaviour around people and other dogs. Classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and rewarding for both puppies and their owners.
Our team also provides practical advice on common puppy topics, including toilet training, nutrition, behaviour, enrichment, parasite prevention, and ongoing healthcare. We understand that every puppy is different, and we’re here to help you navigate the early stages of puppy ownership with confidence.
